Mel became a REALTOR© in 1972 holding his license with Welch Agency until 1990. He became an Associate Broker in 1978.

 

Mel ran a construction company, Welco Construction from 1975-1984 while functioning as a fulltime REALTOR©. In 1984 the company was forced to shutdown because of market conditions at the time.

 

Mel and Scott Sessions began working together in the late 1980's. They partnered together to form Scotts Home Construction in 1990. In 1996 he hired his first agents to work for Ogden Bay Realty. Ogden Bay Realty was founded in 1995.
